How do you describe what cannot be conveyed with simple words? I use the expression Magic and Mystery frequently, for to me, it is the ultimate reward of presence. Free from distractions, we can embrace every moment with zero expectations, wholly present to the experience being offered. My only control, whatsoever, is how I choose to respond. This is a practice that comes easier in some places than others. Nature being my ultimate playground, some energetic locations stand out. Peru is one of those places on earth that is exceptionally magical and mysterious.
No matter how many times I visit or how many days collectively I have lived in the land of Peru, each day still feels like a miracle. All of my senses are delighted in new and unfamiliar ways as the smells, tastes, sounds, and sights unfold like an enchanted fairytale.
Peru endlessly reminds me how to live in a state of joy, awe, and wonder. My synchronicities and serendipitous moments are so frequent and magnificent, they are often hard to believe. Peru shows me how to feel comfortable being myself. In a place covered with energy vortices and magical portals, whoever I think I am, vanishes the moment I step off the plane. For labels and titles no longer work here. I purely become a blissful observer of life, in continual amazement.
It is a complexly simple life here, where rampant consumerism shows up as enthusiastic locals hawking their art, crafts, services, flowers, and food. The food on your plate comes from the market close to where a local family grew it. You are enjoying the potatoes and other foods grown way up that enormous mountain, most likely in view from where you sit. The cultural traditions are evident everywhere you look, and you are welcomed here with open arms and a friendly smile.
We cannot escape the effects of a global economy, pandemics, or natural disasters, but we can consciously choose how we shift with the flow of life. Life in Peru is always uplifting to behold because of its sustainability and passion. The ancestors lived here, as one with the earth, in harmony with all aspects of their environment… from the lush jungle floor to the snowy peaks of the Andes mountains.
This place is unlike anywhere else on earth. There is a continuous flow of inspiration that speaks to the part of you that has always been searching. I invite you to step through the portal and Awaken Your Magic in the Enchanted Land of Peru this October.
