The first-ever Walking as a Sacred Path Wilderness Weekend was wildly successful! A heartfelt THANK YOU goes out to the thirteen lovely women that registered and traveled to the Cliffs of the Neuse State Park for this debut event!
We enjoyed a full day of pure magic through a fusion of enchanting walks, practical skills classes, guided meditations, and plenty of deep, life-changing conversations. We discussed the Leave No Trace principles as an act of Self-Love, what to bring, wear, and do while on solo hikes, and generally how to be an empowered walker. We all laughed, learned a lot, and got to know each other throughout the day.
I look forward to many more Walking as a Sacred Path events in the future!
