Founded in 2015 by Dr. Bill Fleming and solar pioneer Ed Witkin, the mission of “Get Off The Grid Fest™ is to explore and present practical methods of protecting and preserving our natural resources through a forum for sharing know-how and experience in sustainable living within a leave no trace festival.

As a festival, we seek to expand the concept of what it means to live “off-grid” to include not only energy production but also cultivating food through sustainable practices and the creation of personal health and wellness through herbal remedies and physical routine.
